NOTICE OF BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETINGS

Please be advised that the Town Council will be meeting at the Dogan S. Cobb Municipal Building on the following dates and times:

  • Monday, July 1st @ 5:00 PM
  • Monday, July 15th @ 5:00 PM
  • Monday, August 5th @ 5:00 PM
  • Monday, August 19th @ 5:00 PM

The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the 2024-2025 budget for the Town of Bronson.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Town Manager, Sue Beaudet, at 352.486.2354.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING AN APPLICATION FOR A PROPOSED SMALL-SCALE FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL AND PROPOSED REZONING FROM R-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO C-1 (COMMERCIAL)

By the Town of Bronson, Florida will be heard at a Public Hearing on Monday, June 17th at 5:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.  The Public Hearing will be conducted in the Dogan S. Cobb Municipal Building located at 660 East Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, FL 32621.

The application for a proposed small-scale future land use map amendment from single-family residential to commercial and proposed rezoning from R-1 (single-family residential) to C-1 (commercial) is for the property described as follows:

945 East Hathaway Avenue (Parcel ID 0345800000)

The Public Hearing may be continued to one or more future dates.  Any interested party shall be advised that the dates, times, and places of any continuation of this public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no further notice regarding this matter will be published unless said continuation exceeds six (6) calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearing.

At the public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to the proposed small-scale future land use map amendment and proposed rezoning.

Copies of the application for a proposed small-scale future land use map amendment and proposed rezoning are available for public inspection at the Office of the Town Manager, located at Bronson Town Hall, 650 Oak Street, Bronson, FL during regular business hours.

Any person requiring reasonable accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact the Deputy City Clerk at 352.486.2354 at least three (3) days in advance so that arrangements can be made.

All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above referenced public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
