NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING AN APPLICATION FOR A PROPOSED SMALL-SCALE MAP AMENDMENT FROM RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL AND OF A PROPOSED REZONING FROM R-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO C-1 (COMMERCIAL)

 

By the Town of Bronson, Florida will be heard at a Public Hearing on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.  The Public Hearing will be conducted in the Dogan S. Cobb Municipal Building located at 660 East Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, FL 32621.

The application for a proposed small-scale map amendment from residential to commercial and proposed rezoning from R-1 (single-family residential) to C-1 (commercial) is for the property described as follows:

East Hathaway Avenue & Picnic Street (Parcel ID 0652300000)

The Public Hearing may be continued to one or more future dates.  Any interested party shall be advised that the dates, times, and places of any continuation of this public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no further notice regarding this matter will be published unless said continuation exceeds six (6) calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearing.

At the public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to the proposed small-scale map amendment and rezoning.

Copies of the application for a proposed small-scale map amendment and rezoning are available for public inspection at the Office of the Town Manager, located at Bronson Town Hall, 650 Oak Street, Bronson, FL during regular business hours.

Any person requiring reasonable accommodations to participate in this meeting should contact the Deputy City Clerk at 352.486.2354 at least three (3) days in advance so that arrangements can be made.

All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above referenced public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

 

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO RATIFY AND APPROVE UTILITY RATE INCREASE

Please take notice that at a public meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Bronson to be held at the Dogan S. Cobb Municipal Building at 660 East Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, FL 32621 on Monday, April 19th at 6:00 PM, the Town Council will consider the re-adoption and ratification of Resolution 20-1207 increasing water and wastewater utility rates as described in billing notices theretofore sent to all utility customers.  This is a public meeting and interested parties may attend and be heard with respect to the increases in question.
