NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
TOWN OF BRONSON LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE
BY THE PLAN BOARD OF TOWN OF BRONSON, FLORIDA, SERVING ALSO AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY OF THE TOWN OF BRONSON, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Sections 163.3161 through 163.3248, Florida Statutes, as amended, and the Town of Bronson Land Development Code, as amended, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the amendment, as described below, will be heard by the Plan Board of the Town of Bronson, Florida, serving also as the Local Planning Agency of the Town of Bronson, Florida, at a public hearing on August 3, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Dogan S. Cobb Municipal Building, 660 East Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, Florida.
Z 26-02S, an application by John DeMedeiros and Rebecca DeMedeiros to amend the Official Zoning Atlas by changing the zoning district from R-1 RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY to CN NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL for the property described, as follows:
A parcel of land lying in Section 17, Township 12 South, Range 17 East, Levy County, Florida. Being more particularly described as follows: Commence at the Northeast corner of the Southeast1/4 of said Section 17; thence South 00°08’28” East, along the East line of the Southeast1/4 of said Section 17, a distance of 932.50 feet to the North right-of-way line of U.S. Highway Alternate 27 (State Road 500); thence North 62°54’19” West, along the North right-of-way line of said U.S. Highway Alternate 27 (State Road 500), a distance of 258.61 feet; thence North 00°08’28” West 798.46 feet to the North line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 17; thence North 87°47’42” East, along the North line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 17, a distance of 230.26 feet to the Point of Beginning.

A parcel of land lying in Section 17, Township 12 South, Range 17 East, Levy County, Florida. Being more particularly described as follows: Commence at the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 17; thence South 00°08’28” East, along the East line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 17, a distance of 932.50 feet to the North right-of-way line of U.S. Highway Alternate 27 (State Road 500; thence North 62°54’19’ West, along the North right-of-way line of said U.S. Highway Alternate 27 (State Road 500), a distance of 202.25 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continue North 62°54’19’ West, along the North right-of-way line of said U.S. Highway Alternate 27 (State Road 500), a distance of 56.36 feet; thence North 00°08’28” West 460.18 feet; thence North 89°51’32” East 50.00 feet; thence South 00°08’28” East 485.97 feet to the Point of Beginning.
All said lands containing 4.09 acres, more or less.
At the aforementioned public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to the amendment.
Copies of the amendment are available for public inspection at Town Hall located at 650 Oak Street, Bronson, Florida during regular business hours.
