Notice of Public Hearing Before the Local Planning Agency and the Town Council
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 166.041(3)(a) Florida Statutes, that the Town of Bronson Local Planning Agency and Town Council will hold public hearings on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Dogan S. Cobb Municipal Building, 660 East Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, Florida for the purposes of considering the below identified subject matter.
A public hearing to consider a Small Scale Future Land Use Amendment of a 19.94- acre parcel from Timber and Single-Family Residential to Industrial and Rezoning from Timber and R-2 (Multi-Family Residential) to Industrial for the property located at: Subject Property: East of the intersection of Thresher Drive (NE State Road 24) and Wekiva Road (NE 77th Avenue), Bronson, Florida. Parcel ID: 0352100200, 0348900000, and 0348900200
ORDINANCE 25-03 FOR AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF A SMALL SCALE FUTURE LAND USE AMENDMENT AND REZONING OF PARCEL NUMBERS 0352100200, 0348900000, and 0348900200 (EAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF THRESHER DRIVE AND WEKIVA ROAD) FROM TIMBER AND SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO INDUSTRIAL AND REZONING FROM TIMBER AND R-2 (MULTI-FAMLY RESIDENTIAL) TO INDUSTRIAL) INCLUDING AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF BRONSON, LEVY COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION SHALL BE PUBLISHED AS AND REGARDED AS AN ORDINANCE, TO WIT:
All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard regarding the adoption of Ordinance 25-03. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are on file at the Town of Bronson, 650 Oak Street, Bronson, Florida and may be reviewed by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, exclusive of holidays. If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
